Tunbridge Wells – Hargate Forest 2m

Just this side of the county line, this is a Woodland Trust site with wide, clear paths, mature trees and patches of heathland. Info board with map at entrance and other route options to explore.

The main track down the west edge is stone surfaced, the others are a bit more uneven and look to have been very muddy in the winter.

Very near to Broadwater Warren Nature Reserve and Eridge Rocks so you could explore them all in one day if you have a packed lunch (I did!).

Parking: On-street parking on Broadwater Down (residential road).
Public transport: nearby bus stops.
