This is a Woodland Trust site with contrasting blocks of young trees, mature woodland and meadow, all criss-crossed by streams and bridges.
This route goes out of the wood on a public footpath through fields and down a farm track, then back along a very quiet lane.
Very limited parking at two adjacent woodland entrances on a narrow lane.
