St Leonards – Church Wood 1.3m

A charming woodland nature reserve wrapped around a very pretty church. This route incudes a bit of path on the outside for contrast.

Woodland footpaths can often be quite uneven in places with tree roots, and there are some slightly steep steps at the bottom; could get muddy in winter.

Parking: free on site car park. Public transport: nearby bus stops.

Health walk: if you’d like to join a weekly group walk around this area, meet us in the nature reserve car park on Friday mornings just before 10.30. It’s a one hour walk led by trained community volunteers – completely free to take part and no need to book, just pop along.
