Rye – Castle Water 3.3m

A stunning walk at the top of Rye Harbour Nature Reserve where a castle seems to suddenly appear in the middle of a field.

In such a low and watery area, obviously some of these paths can get muddy in winter. Also see the other Rye Harbour walk at the far end of the road.

Parking: pay and display car park. Public transport: bus stop nearby; half mile from Rye Station.

Walked, checked, measured and photographed: October 2020.
