Cripps Corner – Footland Wood 1.5m

This is a lovely Forestry England site with a big free car park and lots of route options.

If you take the main central tracks, they are stone surfaced and suitable for pushchairs and scooters. To make a loop, you’ll need to use some of the minor footpaths that can be very uneven and get very muddy in winter.

Walked, checked, measured and photographed: August 2020; extra pics April 2022 & Oct 2022.

To follow an interactive map on your phone, install the free Map my Walk app and see our “How to” page. If you are following on your phone, remember that signal can be patchy in rural areas or dense woodland, we strongly recommend a printed map or screenshot backup.
