Lewes – Malling Down 2m

Perched on the hill to the east of Lewes, this nature reserve has stunning views across the countryside, over the town and includes striking quarry faces.

Lots of footpaths for longer walks, but some of them even steeper than these ones.

Parking: free car park, but be aware that this postcode gets your sat nav to the electricity station slightly east and on the other side of the road.

Walked, checked, measured and photographed: October 2020

To follow an interactive map on your phone, install the free Map my Walk app and see our “How to” page. If you are following on your phone, remember that signal can be patchy in rural areas or dense woodland, we strongly recommend a printed map or screenshot backup.
