Eastbourne – Shinewater Park 2.5m

A surfaced path all the way round Shinewater Lake – pretty scenery, interesting features and water views.

No steps or stiles, some footbridges with small lip only; suitable for all users, but not possible to make shorter. For most of the walk, the lake is behind trees, you can only see it from a couple of “Lake View” spots.

Parking: free on street parking on Larkspur Drive. Public transport: bus stops on Larkspur Drive.

Health walks: if you’d like to do a group walk around here, you could join our health walkers on Friday mornings. A one hour walk led by trained community volunteers, meet them just before 10.30am outside the Co-op on Milfoil Drive. Completely free, no need to book, just pop along.
