Hadlow Down – Waste Wood 2.9 or 3.8m

A striking walk through a large forest using public footpaths and permissive paths and a little bit of quiet lane on Shepherd’s Hill.

Watch out, some of the paths are bridleways which can get VERY muddy in winter!

Parking: on street parking on School Lane (avoid peak times) with a footpath cutting through the Churchyard and coming out opposite the entrance to the walk; take extra care crossing the road here, it is a speed restricted stretch but traffic can be fast. Public transport: nearby bus stops.
