Seaford – Tide Mills 1.6m

A seafront stroll to the abandoned village of Tide Mills with fascinating history boards and crumbling remains.

Some of the paths could be uneven if the tide has brought shingle in, and this loop includes some field footpaths that might get muddy in winter.

Parking: plenty of free parking in the area, Buckle car park is marked on here. Public transport: bus stops approx 0.3m; Bishopstone Station 0.25m.

Health walk: if you’d like to join a weekly group walk in this area, come and find us every Tuesday morning, meeting at Salts Rec just before 10am. It’s a one hour walk led by trained community volunteers, completely free to take part and no need to book, just pop along.
